Fulminations and stymies

No, I have not been prevaricating, but I agree it is onerous that I have been unaccounted for on my blog that is supposed to bring forth nascent ideas. Believe me, I am voracious for the free time to write....

I don't even have the energy to pump that sentence with more GRE words. That is the idea, I'm studying for the GRE that I have to take in two weeks. I apologize for the silence, but unfortunately, it's going to continue for a little longer.

Pray for me. I studied English literature in college, but I have always been a terrible test-taker. I need all of the vocab studying time I can get.

I studied English lit too (along with my main field, chemistry) and I still bombed the vocab on the GRE... well bombed is a strong word, but it's just impossible. I would recommend just partying with the literary elites for the next couple of weeks instead of reading a bunch of words.

Good luck! I wasn't great at the English section of the GRE, but I remember the experience as a whole not being *too* painful. I found doing the test on the computers much better than the scantron with the SAT - less second guessing (which I am very guilty of).

Anyway, here's to praying you do better than I did! Not that you need it. ^_^

I'm sure you meant "procrastinating" (putting something off) rather than "prevaricating" (fibbing). :^)=) Seriously, I wish you every success. I'd help you study, but I'm half a continent away ....

And ps... I have to meet you some day, especially given that I, too, studied English lit in college, am a not so great standardized test taker (thank you GOD the dept. Doesn't care about the math score!) and am about to take this test within days of yours. Prayers and blessings!
